Second Grade Circle Weaving

The second graders have been working with yarn to learn how to weave.

They all strung their own warp on a plastic disc.

They did a great job learning over and under, and not getting their yarn tangled up!

Many students left their weaving on the loom to keep it supported.  They used colored Sharpies to add to their designs.  Those who took their weaving off had to secure the weft by tying lots of little knots!
